Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physically demanding tasks (standing, lifting, cleaning)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working with animals is a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and administering medications as directed
- Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas to maintain a hygienic environment
- Monitor animals for signs of illness, injury, or behavioral changes and report concerns to staff
- Exercise and socialize animals as appropriate
- Maintain accurate records of feeding, treatments, and activities
- Support veterinary staff and other team members as needed
- Ensure all safety and animal care protocols are followed
