About The Position
Fast-paced kennel connected to a well-established companion animal practice in West Chester, Ohio is looking for a part time kennel technician. This position requires that candidates be available for work on holidays and weekends, as well as day and evening hours during the week.
Requirements
- Work independently
- Have strong communication skills
- Be proficient with computers
- Be able to walk large and small dogs
- Have their own reliable transportation
- Be able to work efficiently
- Knowledge of basic pet care and husbandry is a must.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a kennel technician is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Leash walking small and large dogs
- Feeding and medicating both dogs and cats
- Bathing dogs
- Cleaning and sanitizing the kennel and runs
- Interacting with our clientele during drop off and pick up procedures
- Using our computer system to make reservations and check clients in and out.
