About The Position

Columbia City Veterinary Hospital is looking for a dependable and hardworking Kennel Attendant to join our team! We're a well-established, eight-doctor veterinary practice with a strong support team committed to providing excellent care. This position plays an important role in helping us close the hospital and ensuring our team walks into a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinic each day. You'll join a team of compassionate professionals who believe in supporting one another, celebrating each other, and making sure every team member knows their work matters.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kennels and patient areas
  • Sweep and mop floors throughout assigned areas
  • Empty garbage and properly dispose of waste
  • Restock supplies and other necessary items
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
  • Follow hospital cleaning and sanitation protocols
  • Complete assigned closing duties thoroughly and efficiently
  • Communicate with teammates about tasks, supplies, or concerns
  • Jump in wherever needed to help the team finish the day successfully
