About The Position
Animal Health Center is a busy 24 hour full service hospital looking for hard working and efficient kennel & daycare attendants for part time and full time positions. Experience working with animals in a hospital setting is a huge plus but we are willing to train the right candidate. The Animal Health Center is seeking Veterinary Assistants to join our highly specialized practice. We are a team of dedicated professionals using innovative new technology and techniques to pursue the least invasive approach to treat our patients. We offer the highest level of veterinary medicine in a family-oriented atmosphere. "Best of Both Worlds". Our hospital is one of the largest, most technologically advanced with 1.5T MRI, multi-slice CT, ultrasound, Digital X-rays, a full in house lab and much more. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in animal care or kennel settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical stamina to lift and handle animals of various sizes.
- Knowledge of basic animal behavior and health indicators.
- Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to animal welfare.
- Certification in pet first aid and CPR is an advantage.

Responsibilities
- Feed and provide fresh water to all animals in the kennel.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas to ensure a safe environment.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to the veterinary staff.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and exercising pets as needed.
- Provide companionship and socialization to animals.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines for handling animals.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and activities.
- Support veterinary staff during procedures and treatments as required.
