About The Position

Castle Rock Cat Hospital is looking for a compassionate and dependable Kennel Attendant to join our team. Kennel team members play an essential role in providing daily care for hospitalized and boarding patients while helping maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming hospital environment. This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with animals and wants to build hands-on experience in veterinary medicine while being part of a supportive and collaborative team.

Ability to lift and carry animals, supplies, and food bags with assistance when needed

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care for boarding and hospitalized patients
Feed pets and monitor appetites and behavior
Clean and sanitize cages, runs, litter boxes, food and water bowls, and hospital areas
Bathe and brush patients as needed
Maintain laundry for the kennel and hospital
Help maintain hospital cleanliness and organization throughout the day
Assist doctors and technicians with patient restraint and medication administration as directed
Collect urine and fecal samples when needed
Monitor patients and report unusual behavior or medical concerns to the veterinary team
Help maintain hospital grounds and assist with light facility upkeep
Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning and maintenance protocols
