About The Position
The Seeing Eye is hiring a part-time Kennel Assistant at its Morristown, New Jersey campus. The role supports the care and preparation of dogs that will become guide dogs, helping the organization train about 275 dog guide teams each year. The assistant provides daily care for 24 or more dogs, supporting their physical and emotional well-being in a hands-on, active, team-oriented environment. The position is 20 hours per week, with a four-day workweek and three consecutive days off. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Applicants should include a cover letter and resume.

Responsibilities
- Exercise dogs in supervised playgroups.
- Support the physical and emotional well-being of the dogs.
- Assist with feeding, bathing, and basic medical care, including helping clinic staff with medications.
- Provide daily care for 24 or more dogs.
- Maintain clean and safe indoor and outdoor kennel environments.
- Help with additional tasks to ensure high-quality care for every dog.
