We are searching for hospital attendants/veterinary assistants to help us provide a warm, cheerful and personal touch for our loyal clients and their pets. Cornerstone Veterinary Clinic is a veterinary hospital providing high quality veterinary medicine, general surgery and general dentistry services to dogs and cats. Requirements
- Experience working with animals desired
- Familiarity with animal handling procedures and best practices
- Enjoy working as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills
- Must be eager to learn new skills and receptive to coaching
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to be on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift 50 pounds comfortably
- Ability to comfortably perform repetitive motions of the hands, arms and legs
Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of the hospital
- Maintain all patients in a clean and comfortable environment
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with treatment, medication and care of patients
