About The Position
We are currently seeking individuals who speak both Karen/S'gaw and English fluently. The opportunity we currently have available allows the successful candidate to make a difference in their community by helping those with limited English proficiency. Requirements
- Fluent in both Karen/S'gaw and English
- Informal or professional interpretation experience
- Knowledge of LEGAL interpreting
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the healthcare industry (e.g., pharmacy tech/pharmacist, nursing home, hospital, hospice, patient tech, practicum hours as part of a nursing program, pharmaceutical rep, CNA, LVN, RN, volunteering at a hospital, etc.)
Responsibilities
- Interpreting in person for legal assignments.
