About The Position

COMPA Industries is searching for qualified candidates for an onsite Kahua Automation Specialist position in Aiken, SC. As a Kahua Automation Specialist, you will play a critical role in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of enterprise EPC workflow solutions that support engineering, procurement, and construction operations. Your work will directly enhance project controls, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency across large, complex capital projects.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have experience in the development and deployment of complex workflows for large projects.
  • Possess an accredited four-year degree, or nine (9) years of directly related experience if non-degreed.
  • Applicants must have experience supporting workflow development software (e.g., Kahua).
  • Demonstrate at least five (5) years of work-related experience in IT systems analysis, design, or enterprise application development.
  • Accredited four (4) year degree and five (5) years of relevant experience, or Nine (9) years of directly related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Demonstrated experience with workflow automation and enterprise systems.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage detail-oriented tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of five (5) years in systems analysis, workflow development, or enterprise software solutions.
  • US Citizenship Required

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience with Kahua or similar EPC workflow platforms.
  • Knowledge of enterprise application development best practices.
  • Proficiency in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and automation tools.
  • Experience supporting large-scale EPC or capital project environments.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and support the Kahua EPC workflow system through systems analysis, design, and coding.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align automation solutions with business and project objectives.
  • Coordinate and lead project status meetings; track milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Assist with workflow design, testing, deployment, documentation, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Maintain system documentation, coding standards, procedures, and user manuals.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams to identify process gaps and deliver optimized solutions.
  • Apply enterprise application development best practices and workflow automation standards.
  • Promote Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) principles across team interactions.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, cybersecurity standards, and data privacy requirements.
  • Travel as required to support project or business needs.
  • Act as a primary liaison between IT teams and business stakeholders.
  • Document customer requirements and obtain approvals for workflow solutions.
  • Guide project scope, schedule, and resource coordination.
  • Analyze complex business processes and recommend cost-effective automation solutions.
  • Support software and hardware deployment, upgrades, and special project initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to IT strategies, methodologies, and quality standards.
