About The Position
Brooke Charter Schools is a network of four public charter schools serving grades K-12. The School Culture Aide role at Brooke Roslindale involves holding students to high expectations by leading large groups in a fun and safe manner. This position may include monitoring bus rides, lunch, snacks, recess, and other duties as needed. This is a temporary position running from August through November.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience working with students.
- Ability to lead large groups in a fun and safe manner.
- Belief that great teaching closes the achievement gap.
- Unwavering belief in students' capabilities.
- Professional, warm, and collaborative demeanor with students, families, and colleagues.
- Ability to start immediately.
Nice To Haves
- Spanish or Haitian Creole fluency.
Responsibilities
- Lead large groups of students in a fun and safe manner.
- Monitor bus rides to and from school.
- Supervise students during lunch, snacks, and recess.
- Perform other duties as needed to support school culture.
