About The Position
The K–5 Instructional Coach partners with classroom teachers to strengthen elementary instruction through co-planning, modeling, observation, data analysis, and professional development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate with elementary endorsement
- Minimum of five (5) years of successful elementary teaching experience
- Satisfactory criminal background check

Responsibilities
- Coach teachers one-on-one and in small groups through co-planning, modeling, co-teaching, and structured observation cycles
- Analyze assessment data with the principal and school data team to identify instructional priorities
- Introduce and support implementation of research-based instructional strategies and curriculum fidelity
- Build teacher capacity to use assessment tools and respond to individual student needs
- Collaborate with the principal to develop and facilitate targeted professional development
- Meet regularly with other instructional coaches to align practices across GEE campuses
