About The Position

The Instructional Coach is a key instructional leader responsible for accelerating teacher effectiveness and student achievement through high-touch coaching, modeling, and data-driven support. Reporting directly to the Principal, you will work side-by-side with teachers to strengthen classroom execution, ensure rigorous curriculum implementation, and drive measurable academic gains. This role focuses on developing educators through weekly coaching cycles, actionable real-time feedback, and targeted professional development to ensure every classroom delivers engaging, standards-aligned instruction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3+ years of successful K–12 teaching experience with a proven track record of strong student achievement gains.
• Deep knowledge of Florida state standards, curriculum execution, coaching frameworks, and data analysis.
• Successful completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse (HB 531).
• Candidates must be able to arrange 3 professional reference checks, including at least one former direct supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Lead weekly coaching cycles for assigned teachers, including observations, actionable feedback, demonstration lessons, and co-teaching.
• Conduct frequent classroom walkthroughs to provide real-time feedback and ensure consistent implementation of instructional frameworks.
• Assist teachers with lesson internalization and planning to ensure high cognitive demand and standards alignment.
• Support faithful execution of core curriculum, pacing guides, and assessments across all grade levels.
• Facilitate weekly data meetings to analyze student performance, identify learning gaps, and create targeted re-teach plans.
• Monitor progress toward schoolwide academic goals and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
• Design and deliver high-impact professional development based on teacher observation data and student trends.
• Model a growth-oriented, high-expectations mindset and foster trust across the instructional team.
• Partner with the Principal to maintain strong teacher retention, accountability, and professionalism.
