Teaching Lab is a nonprofit organization dedicated to transforming teacher professional learning to improve student outcomes. They partner with teachers, schools, districts, and states to create effective instructional systems. This role is a contractor position (1099) based in Kansas City, MO, with a start date between August and September 2026. Compensation is based on a day-rate model, and work hours are not guaranteed. The role requires deep expertise in curriculum-based professional development, equitable instructional practice, and impactful 1:1 coaching and group facilitation in K-12 math, with specific curriculum expertise in Eureka Math (K-8) and/or Illustrative Math (9-12). The Program department focuses on designing, delivering, and improving teacher professional learning programs to strengthen instructional practice and drive student achievement. The Facilitator/Coach will design and deliver professional development, provide tailored coaching, build relationships with educators and leaders, and support data collection and reflection processes. This is an individual contributor role with no management responsibilities, requiring collaboration, adaptability, instructional expertise, and a commitment to advancing teaching and learning.
