About The Position
Lipscomb Academy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Junior Varsity Football Head Coach to lead and develop our JV football program. This position will work closely with the Varsity Head Coach to support all aspects of the football program including player development, practice planning, game preparation, team culture, and program alignment.
Requirements
- Experience in coaching football at the junior varsity or higher level.
- Strong understanding of football strategies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other coaches and staff.
- Commitment to student-athlete development and character building.
Nice To Haves
- Previous head coaching experience.
- Experience with film analysis and evaluation tools.
- Knowledge of Lipscomb Academy's mission and values.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Junior Varsity football team.
- Work collaboratively with the Head Varsity Coach and staff.
- Support the development of student-athletes both on and off the field.
- Plan and conduct effective practices in alignment with program goals.
- Promote sportsmanship, discipline, teamwork, and character development.
- Assist with game preparation, film review, and player evaluation.
- Ensure the JV program reflects the mission and values of Lipscomb Academy.
