About The Position
Shrine Catholic High School seeks qualified candidates for the position of JV Boys Assistant Basketball Coach for the Winter 26-27 season. Salary and Benefits commensurate with an Applicant's Experience.
Requirements
- MHSAA CAP Certification (or willingness to complete)
- Current CPR certification (or willingness to complete)
- Protecting God's Children certification (or willingness to complete)
- Strong communication and supervisory skills.
Nice To Haves
- Coaching experience or Assistant Coaching with a progression of increased responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge of the game, contest rules and MHSAA regulations.
- Proficient in teaching and developing basketball skills and fundamentals.
- Strong communication, leadership, motivational and team-building skills across the breadth of the Shrine Community.
Responsibilities
- Assist in teaching and developing basketball skills and fundamentals.
- Be a model of sportsmanship and ethical conduct in representing Shrine Catholic High School.
- Assist in summer camps and off-season workouts.
- Help build the Basketball Program at Shrine Catholic Schools.
- Support the growth of the student athletes in virtue, discipleship and living the faith.
