Employment is contingent on federal, state, local, and/or grant availability. The department is an at-will employer. The role requires a rotating schedule and may involve moderate travel, emergency transports with little notice, additional hours after a scheduled shift, and overnight stays. Physical duties include lifting or carrying up to 100 pounds and frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing stairs, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and squatting; emergency response may require running.
