About The Position

The 36th Judicial District Juvenile Probation Department is seeking dedicated, compassionate, and forward-thinking Juvenile Probation Officers to support at-risk youth across its five-county district. Officers serve as mentors, advocates, and change agents, conducting interviews, using motivational interviewing techniques, and developing individualized plans to help juveniles pursue healthier, more productive paths. Officers may be assigned to any district office: Rockport, Aransas Pass, Sinton, Beeville, Mathis, or George West. The position offers a starting salary of $4,583.34 per month, or higher depending on experience. The position is open until filled. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• Strong sense of integrity, empathy, and commitment to youth development.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in juvenile justice or a similar area.
