Join Allied Universal at a government location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and support daily operations through a visible access control presence. This is a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols, help to deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • COLA: DPSS/DHS tuberculosis test/MMR vaccinations are required.
  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and authorized personnel by carrying out site-specific procedures, access screening, and other security-related duties appropriate to a government location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and credentials, document visitor activity, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to observe conditions and report unusual activity or maintenance-related concerns.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and communication with site contacts regarding access control events, policy violations, and/or emergency response activities.
