The JIV Case Manager provides housing-focused case management and reentry support to Veterans whose active involvement with the criminal justice system creates a barrier to obtaining or maintaining stable housing. The position works with Veterans before and after release from correctional facilities and with Veterans in the community who have active justice-related housing barriers. This position will utilize a network of internal and external services to assist justice-involved Veterans in addressing housing and reentry barriers, maintaining housing stability, successfully transitioning back into the community, and working toward long-term success. Services are structured, goal-focused, and time-limited. The Case Manager will coordinate with MACV housing teams, correctional agencies, VA programs, Veterans Treatment Courts, County Veterans Service Offices, and community partners. This role is essential in providing consistent, supportive services that promote stability and reduce the risk of recidivism.
