About The Position

The Justice Administrator will oversee the coordination and delivery of health plan services for justice-involved members. This role involves oversight of justice program staff, ensuring the completion of deliverables, developing relationships with providers and community-based organizations, and coordinating care for members currently in and transitioning from the justice system.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in Justice Court Administration, Justice System Coordination, and Behavioral Health Programs
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in data management and computer skills
  • Ability to interact respectfully with diverse populations
  • Ability to manage competing demands and adapt to changes
  • Develops workable implementation plans and communicates changes effectively
  • Initiates and maintains collaboration with diverse staff and community partners
  • Residency, and work to be performed, within the State of Arizona.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 years direct experience working with the justice systems and/or justice involved populations to include transition services, re-entry and prelease service coordination
  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Work, Criminal Justice, or a related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced proficiency in data management and computer skills to include Microsoft Suite, BI platforms which include Tableau, Power BI, etc
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to develop long-term plans and strategies to achieve organizational goals
  • Effective at identifying issues and implementing solutions
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a member or chair for provider or community-based organizations and public service agencies such as municipalities, county, and state organizations to coordinate community-specific behavioral health and justice committees throughout the state to support cross system collaboration.
  • Provide consultation, technical assistance, and training to providers, stakeholders, and others to evaluate needs and develop appropriate solutions to address barriers.
  • Provide education, training and oversight to team members, internal colleagues, and external community partners.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize performance and outcomes in AHCCCS-led initiatives such as justice TIP, Reach-In, and other programs as applicable.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate system-wide efforts to address challenges related to successful re-entry and re-integration for justice involved individuals.
  • Build relationships with local community-based organizations and partners to identify and advance opportunities and outcomes for justice involved individuals.
  • Ensure timely completion of all program deliverables and/or reports to maintain accountability through regular reporting.
  • Participate in staff meetings, attend and/or lead training activities, and implement strategic plans.
  • Collect, analyze, and report data related to justice-involved members and program outcomes.
  • Willing to travel within the state of Arizona.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
