About The Position

eMaids of Camden County is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Junk Removal Technician/Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely removing unwanted furniture, household items, debris, and other approved materials from residential and commercial properties. This is a flexible, per-job position with the opportunity for additional work based on performance and availability.

Requirements

• Previous junk removal experience is required.
• Must have a reliable truck capable of transporting junk and debris.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be willing to lift, carry, load, and move heavy items.
• Must be physically able to perform strenuous work, including bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions.
• Must be willing to be on call when needed.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available for jobs that may be scheduled on short notice.
• Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and respectful of customers' homes and property.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
• Must be willing to pass a background check, if required.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at customer locations on time and ready to work.
• Assess items that need to be removed.
• Safely remove furniture, appliances, boxes, debris, and other approved items.
• Carefully carry items through homes, buildings, stairs, garages, and other areas without damaging property.
• Load items safely and efficiently into the company-approved truck.
• Secure the load properly for transportation.
• Keep the work area clean and free of debris after removal.
• Communicate professionally with customers and the office.
• Take required before-and-after photos when requested.
• Follow company procedures for disposal, recycling, and donation of items.
• Report any damage, unusual items, safety concerns, or customer issues to management immediately.
