About The Position

eMaids of Camden County is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Junk Removal Technician/Driver to join our team. This position is responsible for safely removing unwanted furniture, household items, debris, and other approved materials from residential and commercial properties. This is a flexible, per-job position with the opportunity for additional work based on performance and availability.

Requirements

Previous junk removal experience is required.
Must have a reliable truck capable of transporting junk and debris.
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Must be willing to lift, carry, load, and move heavy items.
Must be physically able to perform strenuous work, including bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling.
Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors and in different weather conditions.
Must be willing to be on call when needed.
Must have a flexible schedule and be available for jobs that may be scheduled on short notice.
Must be dependable, punctual, professional, and respectful of customers' homes and property.
Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Must follow all company safety procedures and instructions.
Must be willing to pass a background check, if required.

Responsibilities

Arrive at customer locations on time and ready to work.
Assess items that need to be removed.
Safely remove furniture, appliances, boxes, debris, and other approved items.
Carefully carry items through homes, buildings, stairs, garages, and other areas without damaging property.
Load items safely and efficiently into the company-approved truck.
Secure the load properly for transportation.
Keep the work area clean and free of debris after removal.
Communicate professionally with customers and the office.
Take required before-and-after photos when requested.
Follow company procedures for disposal, recycling, and donation of items.
Report any damage, unusual items, safety concerns, or customer issues to management immediately.
