Junior Water Engineer m/f
About The Position
This is an Early Professionals Program focused on the Water Sector, offering multiple positions for recent graduates in the Western Balkans. SUEZ Consulting, in collaboration with the World Bank, is implementing the Utility of the Future (UoF) Initiative. This transformative project focuses on mentoring and capacity building for water and sanitation utilities in the Western Balkans. The program aims to develop the next generation of water sector leaders by offering a unique opportunity for six early career professionals (one in each Western Balkans country) to join the support team. No prior experience is required, only a passion for learning and a commitment to strengthening the water sector in the region. The program supports 30 utilities across six Western Balkans countries (Albania, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia).
Requirements
- Recent graduates or young professionals with an interest in the water sector, including engineering, environmental sciences, public policy, or related fields.
- IT/Digitization professionals.
- Candidates with a strong commitment to the development of water and sanitation utilities in their countries.
- No prior experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Gain hands-on experience in an international project.
- Work alongside international experts in the water and sanitation sector.
- Participate in sector-related training programs.
- Receive mentorship from water specialists at the World Bank.
