About The Position

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Junior Trial Attorney to join its corporate team. The role focuses on managed care plan reimbursement issues, including resolving disputed claims through mediation, arbitration, and litigation. Litigation matters may involve court proceedings, hearings, motions, and other related work. The position may also include payor relations through joint operations committees and work involving managed care contracts.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in Illinois or New Jersey.
• At least 3 years of experience, preferably at a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience handling health plan and/or hospital reimbursement litigation, including payment disputes, managed care disputes, arbitrations, court proceedings, and claims-related matters.
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters, including pleadings, discovery, motions, hearings, and court appearances.
• Exceptional written, verbal, advocacy, and negotiation skills.
