About The Position

Kanner & Pintaluga is a law firm founded in 2003 that represents property damage and personal injury clients nationwide. The Trial Attorney helps clients receive attentive care and favorable results by meeting with them, discussing their cases, and earning their trust through compassion and empathy. The attorney also keeps clients informed and communicates with insurance companies about claim status, demands, and offers. The position requires preparing cases for trial and trying cases when needed.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Three to five years of personal injury litigation experience.
• Five or more jury trials as first chair.
• Member of the New Jersey Bar in good standing.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Superb negotiation skills.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently in an office environment.
• Team-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Civil Trial Attorney.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their cases.
• Show clients compassion and empathy and earn their trust, confidence, and respect.
• Update clients on the status of their cases.
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims, demands, and offers.
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases when needed.
• Evaluate claims.
