About The Position

This role is for a Junior Trader focused on Sales & Business Development within the lumber industry. Previous experience in business development, account management, entrepreneurship, door-to-door sales, or commission-based roles is a plus, as is competing in high-level sports. The role offers an in-house training and mentorship program, even for those with no prior trading experience. The core responsibilities involve building and maintaining a book of business through cold calling and prospecting, identifying customer needs, providing value, discovering new opportunities through market research and lead generation, and networking. The role requires strong listening, questioning, and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on developing long-lasting customer relationships.
