About The Position

Support the sustainment, reliability, maintainability, and availability for the Satellite Control Network (SCN). Support communication systems that link satellite operations centers with worldwide remote satellite tracking stations. Support commercial satellite manufacturers to test satellite communications compatibility with the SCN.

Requirements

Must have the ability to obtain Secret Clearance
Must be US Citizen.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, math or equivalent.
Zero to three years of related experience with: Requirements management and functional analysis.
Zero to three years of related experience with: Using analysis tools (MS Excel entry and graphing).
Zero to three years of related experience with: Working with engineering/project teams.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, perform a variety of specific engineering tasks of an analysis, design, or test nature.
Help to develop and maintain an active Obsolescence program, supporting SCN sustainment.
Perform obsolescence analysis activities on system configuration items (CI) in support of overall SCN system sustainment.
Write Engineering Analysis with recommendations to the Government.
