About The Position

DGPerry, a certified public accounting firm with eight office locations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York and Florida, is committed to providing the highest quality accounting, auditing, tax, and business advisory services to our clients. Our firm employs more than 150 team members with a wide range of experience and skills, serving businesses in various industries. We are looking to add a full-time Junior Systems Administrator to our IT Department in our Columbus, Ohio (Dublin) office. The Junior Systems Administrator will support the firm's day-to-day technology operations by assisting with system administration, troubleshooting technical issues, and maintaining network and cloud-based environments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a motivated IT professional to develop their technical skills while contributing to the success of a growing firm.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience through internships, help desk roles, or related IT positions
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure, networking, Group Policy, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
  • Positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, strong ethics, and professional conduct
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team environment
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the IT field

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration and support of Microsoft Azure environments
  • Support and maintain Active Directory user accounts, permissions, and organizational units
  • Assist with Group Policy management and troubleshooting
  • Support Microsoft Exchange and email-related administration
  • Troubleshoot networking and connectivity issues
  • Provide technical support for hardware, software, and system-related issues
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including account provisioning and access management
  • Perform routine system maintenance, updates, and monitoring
  • Document IT procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting processes
  • Collaborate with IT Director on projects and infrastructure improvements
