I2X Technologies is seeking a System Adminstator to support ongoing activities for a customer in Colorado Springs. This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.
Requirements
- Active Secret clearance; TS/SCI Preferred
- Must possess a DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (Security+ CE, SecurityX, CCNA Security, CySA+ , GICSP, GSEC, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CISSP).
- Candidate will be responsible to maintain DoD 8140 certification for the full contract period.
- Sound background and experience with operations and maintenance of large-scale computer and communications systems/networking environments.
- Sound background and experience in system and/or network administration that include the following (UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco and Juniper).
- Sound background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software components.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience and knowledge of Missile Defense Systems
- US Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities
- Performs daily system monitoring, operations and maintenance of systems in a 24x7 operations and test environment.
- Provide first level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local hardware, software and networks.
- Document and report all events/issues and receive tasking and direction for all operations, test & real world events.
- Assist in all hardware/software installations as directed by the local SMEs and create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO.
- Performs other duties and assignments as required.
