About The Position

AMG Incorporated is looking for a Structural Engineer who enjoys turning real-world constraints into smart, buildable solutions and seeing their work come to life in the field. This is a great opportunity for an early-career engineer to take ownership of real projects and build hands-on experience in structural design for industrial applications. This position will focus on structural member designs initially with progressive growth into larger more complex projects. Lots of room for growth!

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (may consider Civil or Mechanical with applicable experience)
• 2-5 years of structural design experience
• Strong understanding of structural fundamentals and member sizing
• Detail-oriented with a practical, problem-solving mindset
• Based in or willing to relocate to the Dayton, Ohio area

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate structural members using load calculations
• Determine feasibility and optimize solutions for industrial applications
• Work with Unistrut systems, including member and fitting selection
• Apply sound engineering judgment to develop safe, efficient designs
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver practical, efficient designs and support occasional visits to client site (local)
