For our business unit Digital Factory Solutions we are seeking a passionate Software Engineer to join our Digital Factory Solutions team at our office in Auburn Hills, Michigan. In this entry-level role, you will contribute to the development and customization of our CENIT FASTSUITE E2 and DELMIA portfolio products using C#, .NET, and Python. You will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions for Aerospace and Automotive Manufacturing CAD/CAM solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of C# programming and the .NET ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio for development and debugging
- Knowledge of Python (scripting, automation, or data tasks)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Open and willing to work in an international work environment.
- Willing and able to learn new tools, processes, and technologies
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 40%
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of CAD/CAM software or manufacturing related development are a plus
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software applications using C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Visual Studio
- Write clean, efficient code and scripts in Python for automation, data processing, and integration tasks
- Collaborate with senior developers on feature implementation, debugging, and code reviews
- Assist in testing, troubleshooting, and optimizing applications for performance and reliability
- Participate in software deployment and integration at client sites (up to 30% travel)
- Document code, processes, and technical specifications
- Support continuous improvement of our development practices and tools
