About The Position

We are looking for a motivated Junior Software Engineer – Connectivity to join an automotive engineering team. The role helps develop and integrate connectivity solutions that enable communication between vehicles, mobile devices, cloud services, and infrastructure. The work supports connected-vehicle features such as over-the-air (OTA) updates, telematics services, V2X, and infotainment systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience as a cloud or embedded engineer.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and scripting languages such as Python.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and issue-tracking tools such as JIRA.
• Exposure to embedded systems.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience in embedded software development, preferably in the automotive domain.
• Exposure to telematics, V2X, or OTA update systems.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, and UDS, and tools such as CANoe and CANalyzer.
• Understanding of wireless communication technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE/5G.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure, and vehicle data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for in-vehicle OTA.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, cybersecurity, and cloud services teams to deliver robust OTA features.
• Support diagnostics, logging, and troubleshooting of connectivity issues in bench and vehicle environments.
• Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration.
• Ensure compliance with applicable automotive standards such as ASPICE, ISO 26262, and AUTOSAR.
