About The Position

As a Junior Software Developer, you will be an integral part of ECS’s development team, working across the full stack to build innovative web-based software. You will contribute to the project lifecycle for custom business applications, help develop services and integrations, support application architecture, and implement DevOps strategies. Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 0–5 years of experience as a developer using the Microsoft technology stack with a degree, or 2–5 years without a degree.

Nice To Haves

• Certifications in Microsoft Development, Agile Development, or Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the project lifecycle by designing, storyboarding, prototyping, developing, testing, deploying, and implementing custom business applications using current tools and technologies.
• Build modern web services that integrate with internal and external services and APIs.
• Support application architecture improvements in logging, error handling, and performance.
• Implement DevOps strategies to improve automation and reduce waste.
• Help scale platforms as the company grows.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and trends.
• Assist in contributing to and enhancing assigned ECS projects.
• Develop understanding of ECS domain knowledge and development best practices.
