About The Position

D.R. Horton, Inc. is hiring a Junior Sales Representative to train in managing the full sales process and communicating with customers from their first interaction through the close of escrow. The role supports home sales by engaging prospective buyers, maintaining sales documentation and files, monitoring sales-office and model-home readiness, and helping ensure transactions and business practices meet company policies and quality standards. The position also involves building rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members while conducting business professionally and ethically.

Requirements

Associate’s degree or two years of related experience.
Must have a vehicle and a valid driver’s license, and be able to drive during daytime or nighttime.
Ability to use DRH Sales applications on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior CRM software experience.
Previous sales experience and knowledge of the industry preferred.
Strong intercommunication and interaction skills.
Strong motivation.

Responsibilities

Greet and qualify visitors.
Demonstrate models, homes, and home sites.
Address sales objections and work to close sales.
Document transactions and any cancellations.
Track the progress of loans, options, and construction.
Respond to customer requests for information.
Maintain lot files and sales files.
Monitor models and the sales office for appropriate disclosures, supplies, repairs, and other needs.
Conduct business professionally and ethically to serve potential buyers and increase company goodwill and profit.
Develop and maintain good rapport with prospective customers, realtors, and team members.
Execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
