Junior Safety Manager – Commercial Construction - Denver, CO
About The Position
United Contractor Services is a leading specialty subcontractor in North America, recognized for its growth and commitment to quality. We are expanding our safety team and seeking an early-career safety professional to join us. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on ensuring compliance, training employees, and strengthening our safety culture across job sites. The position involves working in both office and field environments, educating employees and subcontractors on accident prevention and safety regulations. Regular out-of-state travel is a requirement for this role, demanding flexibility and a readiness to travel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience in a construction safety role.
- OSHA 30 certification required.
- Bilingual English and Spanish fluency is required.
- Willingness and availability to travel out of state on a regular basis.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example with consistent, quality-driven safety leadership across assigned project sites.
- Carry out the daily implementation and monitoring of all company safety programs.
- Facilitate onsite training for crews and subcontractors and coordinate recurring safety workshops.
- Be on your feet approximately 80% of the time.
- Independently lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds as needed.
