Junior Reverse Engineering/Vulnerability Research Engineer
About The Position
As a member of Clarity Innovations’ Security Research team, you will identify weaknesses in different types of systems, demonstrate and document those weaknesses, and develop exploits. You will work with experienced Security Researchers to analyze and understand how systems function. The role requires static and dynamic analysis experience, familiarity with multiple vulnerability classes, and strong communication with technical and non-technical partners. The ideal candidate can confidently contribute from the early phases of vulnerability research projects and carry work through multiple phases and iterations.
Requirements
- Experience performing static and dynamic analysis.
- Familiarity with multiple classes of vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency using research tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with team members, technical partners, and non-technical partners.
- Ability to operate confidently in the early phases of a vulnerability research project.

Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability research and reverse engineering for customer tasks.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis using research tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers.
- Develop exploits leveraging discovered vulnerabilities.
- Communicate security research findings internally and, where appropriate, externally.
- Mentor fellow security researchers.
