Junior Reverse Engineering/Vulnerability Research Engineer
About The Position
As a member of Clarity Innovations’ Security Research team, you will identify weaknesses in multiple types of systems, then demonstrate, document, and exploit those weaknesses. You will work with experienced security researchers to break down and understand how different systems function. The role requires experience with static and dynamic analysis, familiarity with multiple classes of vulnerabilities, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical partners. The ideal candidate can confidently operate in the early phases of vulnerability research and carry projects through multiple phases and iterations.
Requirements
- Experience performing static and dynamic analysis.
- Familiarity with multiple classes of vulnerabilities.
- Proficiency using research tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers.
- Strong communication skills for engaging with team members, technical partners, and non-technical partners.
- Ability to operate confidently in the early phases of a vulnerability research project.

- Experience with exploit development.
Responsibilities
- Perform vulnerability research and reverse engineering for customer tasks.
- Perform static and dynamic analysis using research tools such as disassemblers, debuggers, and fuzzers.
- Develop exploits by leveraging discovered vulnerabilities.
- Communicate security research findings internally and, when appropriate, externally.
- Mentor fellow security researchers.
