Junior Refrigeration Engineer/EIT

Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in industrial refrigeration system design and analysis
- Member of a canadian provincial Engineering Association either as P.Eng or EIT
- Familiarity with ammonia and CO2 refrigeration systems
- Knowledge of refrigeration and piping codes and standards
- Degree or diploma in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or relevant qualifications in a related field
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency in technology-driven communication tools
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Energetic, motivated, and solutions-oriented
- Ability to travel internationally
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Plant 3D, and P&ID software packages
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the design and analysis of refrigeration plants and systems
- Perform CAD drafting of refrigeration system schematics and layouts in AutoCAD
- Supervise and perform drafting of refrigeration system schematics and layouts in Revit and/or Plant3D
- Conduct safety and code compliance audits
- Participate in developing refrigeration-related SOPs, HAZOPS, and other safety analyses
- Conduct site inspections of refrigeration systems
- Write, format, and proofread specifications, proposals, reports, templates, and other documents
- Organize and maintain project records
- Provide support and build relationships with new and existing clients
- Collaborate with internal and external team members to ensure project success
