About The Position

The Junior Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for evaluating the first run of production and product development test samples for David Yurman product. This role involves participating in the first production approval process, including inspection of merchandise, documentation, analysis, and communication of evaluation results. The analyst will also perform XRF Analysis on incoming Components and Finished Goods, scan diamonds in First Production goods, and participate in PD Test product reviews, providing feedback and approvals. Additionally, the role includes participating in the sample selection process, coordinating transition to the sample library, and maintaining accurate inventory. Assistance with other projects as needed is also part of the responsibilities.

Requirements

Minimum of 2-3+ years jewelry experience required
Experienced working as part of a Team
Knowledge of jewelry inspection process is a must
Attention to detail with ability to work on long-term and short-term projects, including the ability to inspect merchandise for corrective action purposes as required
Strong organizational and written communication skills
Ability to work on multiple projects

Nice To Haves

GIA or similar gemology certification preferred
Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred

Responsibilities
