About The Position

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Junior Program Manager to support the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) program, which is within the C3I and Infrastructure Division (AFLCMC/HNI) and located at Hanscom AFB, MA. The Air Force Intranet Control is a defensive system that analyzes all traffic coming in the service’s network, it receives data from more than 100 entry points on regionally managed Air Force networks into 16 centrally managed access points that cover all traffic on the Air Force Information Network.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree
• 3 years of directly related experience in a DoD setting OR, five years of directly related experience with proper certification
• MUST have an active US security clearance

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, analyze, and assess system acquisition in terms of development, production, and deployment of weapons systems and associated equipment as well as formulate plans and recommend effective strategies in meeting cost, schedule and performance objectives.
• Support and develop acquisition reports, including statutory and regulatory reports.
• Support program management reviews, senior level meeting/reviews, and IMP/IMS reviews.
• Support and develop various briefings/schedules of program status and acquisition tasks to senior management.
• Support development of program documentation such as POM inputs, communication plans, contract documentation, meeting minutes, program briefings, regulatory & statutory documents.
• Support program monitoring activities such as tracking contract CDRLs, documentation review and coordination, status updates and reporting.
• Support program execution to include coordination of activities with stakeholders, setting up and administering program meetings.
