About The Position

The Junior Program Analyst (Federal Programs) applies experience solving consulting problems for Federal clients in a fast-paced and dynamic environment on a high-performing team. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of experience in project management support. They are critical thinkers, excellent communicators/presenters, and have experience on complex projects. They are interested in homeland security and justice clients. Arc Aspicio is currently operating in a hybrid work environment where work will be performed at client sites, the Arc Aspicio DC office, and remotely - depending on client, contract, and company needs. All candidates must live in the Washington, DC area at time of employment.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of project management support
  • Proven to be flexible and thrive in a dynamic, ambiguous, and complex work environment and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding written and oral communication and collaboration skills and strong leadership potential
  • Ability to collaborate and work effectively remotely and in-person
  • Technologically savvy, especially with Microsoft products and use of collaboration tools like SharePoint
  • Desire to join a consulting firm and learn business concepts; loves to collaborate and reach out to get involved in company events, offerings, and special projects
  • Ability to work in the Washington, DC metro area and travel to different locations
  • Clearance: U.S. Citizenship only (no dual citizenship). Currently holds a Public Trust level clearance or have the ability to obtain and maintain a position of trust/Federal security clearance
  • Bachelor's Degree (minimum) required
  • Critical Skills: Executive presence, leadership, entrepreneurial spirit, strong work ethic, collaborative mind-set, excellent problem-solving skills, and interest in working in a consulting firm. Interest in working on assignments outside of one project is strongly desired

Responsibilities

  • Support project and administrative tasks and workstreams that contribute to the overall project goals and delivering high-quality solutions
  • Assist with documenting business processes, identify process improvement opportunities, and gathering information
  • Track assigned tasks and action items for timely completion through effective organization and communication
  • Provides project support by coordinating meetings, preparing agendas and materials, documenting meeting notes, and action item trackers
  • Assist with change management efforts by developing user communications, training materials, and transition support activities
  • Contribute to company service areas beyond just the project to build new skills and help the company grow by developing our capabilities and selling new business
  • Contribute to our company culture, which promotes collaboration, learning, and helping others to grow and develop
  • Collaborate with our clients to solve tough problems, delivering outstanding client service, and achieving mission results
  • Apply excellent consulting, business analysis, and communications skills to quickly identify problems, analyze challenges, and recommend solutions to our team and our clients
