About The Position

Steampunk is seeking a Junior Program Analyst to support recurring, statutory-cadence program reporting for a large federal advisory program. This role involves producing monthly status reports, supporting quarterly risk register updates, and maintaining the issue log and escalation report. The analyst will also pull and reconcile data from various sources (financial, acquisition, schedule, performance) ensuring Section 508 conformance, and assist in formatting executive briefing materials and other program deliverables.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of total experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience (strong internship experience considered)
  • Basic data analysis and reconciliation skills across multiple data sources
  • Solid Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet fixed reporting deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to a federal contracting environment
  • Experience with Section 508-conformant document production
