About The Position

Every day, millions of people use Yazio to build healthier habits. The experiences that help them discover value, make confident decisions and continue their journey are shaped by our Monetization squad. We're hiring a Junior Product Designer to help create those experiences—from subscription flows and paywalls to experiments that improve how users engage with our product. We've set the role up properly for a junior. You'll learn from an experienced Senior Product Designer, work closely with Product Managers and Engineers and receive regular feedback as you grow. You'll start by shadowing and learning the fundamentals, then gradually take ownership of your own design challenges and projects. Let's shape the future of nutrition together and make Yazio the most successful nutrition app worldwide! This role is 100% remote and open to candidates based in Germany, Spain, Portugal or the U.K.

Requirements

• Experience designing mobile product experiences through work, internships, freelance projects or your portfolio
• Ability to create clear, user-friendly interfaces with strong attention to detail
• Enjoy turning ideas into wireframes, prototypes and polished designs
• Curiosity about how design decisions influence user behavior and business outcomes
• Comfortable giving and receiving feedback and enjoy learning from others
• Collaborate well with Product Managers, Engineers and fellow Designers
• Excited to explore AI-powered ways of working and continuously improve your craft
• Eager to grow in a fast-moving environment and take ownership of your development

Responsibilities

• Design mobile experiences across paywalls, subscription flows and upsells
• Turn ideas into wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
• Work closely with Product Managers, Engineers and Designers to bring ideas to life
• Learn from user research, usability tests and experiment results
• Improve designs through feedback, iteration and data-informed decisions
• Explore AI-powered tools for ideation, prototyping and research
• Prepare developer handoffs and support design quality before release
• Contribute to our design system and Design Guild initiatives
• Gradually take ownership of design challenges as your confidence and skills grow
