About The Position
Hospice & Palliative Care, Inc has been dedicated to providing compassionate care for individuals with end-stage illnesses since 1977. Serving patients of all ages, from newborns to centenarians, our mission is to ensure their final days are as comfortable and dignified as possible. We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Junior Operations Support team member to help us maintain our high standards of service. This is a part-time, fully remote position ideal for a highly organised individual passionate about supporting a meaningful cause. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient daily running of our organisation, providing essential support to the teams who deliver our critical care services.
Requirements
- Proven experience in an administrative, operational support, or similar role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other standard office software.
- The ability to work independently and manage a varied workload in a remote setting.
- A compassionate, professional, and discreet approach, with a strong understanding of the sensitive nature of our work.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience within the healthcare or non-profit sector is desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the operations team to ensure smooth daily functioning.
- Assist in scheduling and coordinating appointments, meetings, and internal events.
- Manage and maintain sensitive company and patient records with the utmost confidentiality and accuracy.
- Prepare, format, and distribute internal communications, reports, and other essential documents.
- Handle data entry tasks with a high level of precision and efficiency.
- Liaise with various internal departments to facilitate effective communication and operational alignment.
- Support the wider team with ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks as required.
