About The Position

The TMX Group is seeking a Junior Network Engineer Intern to join their Network Engineering team. This role involves evolving the latest technologies to meet business needs. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, able to manage multiple tasks, eager to learn, and self-motivated. This position reports to the Senior Manager, Network Engineering and is based in Toronto, ON, with a hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days per week in the office. The internship is a 4-month co-op program from September 8, 2026, to December 23, 2026.

Requirements

• In progress of completing a degree/diploma in Networking/Computer Science Program or equivalent
• Proficient skills in Python programming
• Familiar with network related terminology
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• A collaborative team player
• Self-motivated, hardworking and adaptable in a fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

• Google G-Suite experience
• Knowledge of AWS is a plus
• Any certification related to networking

Responsibilities

• Writing scripts to automate repeated tasks
• Assist with day to day network operations tasks
• Help maintain accurate documentations and diagrams
• Work on assigned projects or tasks
• Ability to search and understand technical documentation online
