About The Position

We have a client in Augusta, GA that has an opportunity for a Junior Mechanical Engineer. This position will support the design of mechanical systems for commercial buildings, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection. You will work with senior engineers to develop designs, prepare and modify engineering drawings, create 3D models, perform engineering calculations, and prepare construction documents. Training will be provided on the company’s processes, standards, and project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• 2+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• FE/EIT exam completed or willingness to take exam
• Proficiency in AutoCAD

Nice To Haves

• Proficiency in REVIT
• Proficiency in Building Systems
• Proficiency in 3D modeling
• Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection design
