Requirements

Experience working in hardware design, prototyping, 3D modeling and computer-aided drafting (CAD) in an internship, school projects, or in a professional work environment
Knowledge of basic engineering and physics principles as they apply to hardware design and product development
Knowledge of manufacturing technologies and approaches, including additive and subtractive manufacturing techniques
Ability to develop technical documentation, including 2D technical drawings and written technical documentation
Ability to collaborate with an integrated product team, including a variety of technical and non-technical teammates
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

Nice To Haves

Experience with prototyping and integration related to electromechanical or military systems
Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or modeling and simulation activities
Experience with other engineering software, including Matlab, Mathcad, or multiphysics software
Experience with lab-based developmental testing and test data acquisition
Knowledge of product design for manufacturability, reliability, maintainability, injection molding, ruggedization, and exposure to extreme environments
Secret clearance
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering
