About The Position

Mutual of Omaha Mortgage, a division of Mutual of Omaha Insurance, is a full-service residential lending division offering mortgages, refinancing, and specialty loans. The Junior Loan Officer provides administrative support to Loan Officers and customer service by email and phone. The role involves explaining the loan process, answering basic questions, and gathering customer information as directed by Loan Officers. Marketing through social media and calling past customers are also important parts of the position. The role may provide opportunities to grow into other positions over time.

Requirements

• Previous sales or customer service experience in any capacity, whether full-time or part-time.
• Desire to succeed.
• Motivated, competitive, and driven.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook.

Nice To Haves

• Mortgage experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to Loan Officers.
• Serve customers by email and phone, providing information about the loan process and answering basic questions.
• Gather information from customers as directed by Loan Officers.
• Market through social media.
• Reach out by phone to past customers.

• Commission on closed or funded loans, plus a base hourly wage at least equal to state or local minimum wage.
