Capgemini is seeking a Junior Landing Gear and Brakes System Integrator to support our client in Mirabel (Québec, Canada). You will join the Landing Gear and Brakes Integration team, working closely with internal teams and suppliers on high impact projects across the full program lifecycle—from development to certification. This role requires close coordination with multifunctional teams to ensure smooth integration of critical aircraft systems, with a strong focus on performance, safety, and compliance with aerospace standards. Requirements

  • Experience in mechanical system integration or aerospace systems integration.
  • Support in development and integration of Landing systems (Nose and Main Landing Gear, Retraction/Extension System, Steering System, Brake Control System, Brakes, Wheels, Tire Pressure Indication System, Tires).
  • Experience working with engineering documents and technical drawings.
  • Experience with different system interface requirements and importance.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for documenting findings, preparing reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Project Management: Ability to track integration tasks, maintain schedules with the support of the project engineer, and keep documentation up to date for internal communication and team visibility.
  • Teamwork: Proven ability to work effectively within multi‑functional teams and manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Problem‑Solving: Proactive approach to tackling technical issues with strong critical‑thinking skills to resolve complex integration challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation and task execution, aiming for first‑time‑right results.
  • Willingness to learn and develop further technical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with verification and validation (V&V) is beneficial.
  • Experience working in an OEM, MRO, or Airline is beneficial.
  • Experience with E-room, Datalink, ENOVIA, CATIA, G-Drive is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support integration activities for landing gear and braking systems from development through certification, ensuring performance, reliability, and safety.
  • Prepare and maintain project dashboards and status presentations to track timelines and progress.
  • Follow the client’s change‑management process to advance projects through required development gates.
  • Manage suppliers technically, acting as the primary technical contact between the supplier and the client for assigned projects.
  • Collaborate with design, testing, and internal engineering teams to confirm system requirements are met and integration steps are correctly executed.
  • Conduct system analyses, troubleshooting, and root‑cause investigations to address integration issues.
  • Support the creation and review of development, qualification, and certification documentation related to landing gear and braking systems.
  • Maintain clear communication and coordination with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
