This role will be an integral part of the landing gear manufacturing team. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through fabricating landing gear assemblies and components.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
2+ years of experience relevant to fabricating landing gear or similar job duties.
Ability to use basic hand tools safety and appropriately as required for performing specific job duties.
Read and understand work instructions and drawings.
Ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings with assistance.
Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift
Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

Assist in tube bending, grind, drill, countersink, rivet, and assemble large components
Perform crating and uncrating of product
Stack and move products as directed, to facilitate manufacturing work
Safely handle product always, and ensure own quality of work to include no damage to product
Keep work areas clean and organized
Read and interpret manufacturing and Bell drawings
Other duties as assigned
