This role will be an integral part of the landing gear manufacturing team. You’ll be able to hone your technical abilities through fabricating landing gear assemblies and components.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of experience relevant to fabricating landing gear or similar job duties.
  • Ability to use basic hand tools safety and appropriately as required for performing specific job duties.
  • Read and understand work instructions and drawings.
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions and manufacturing drawings with assistance.
  • Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Capable of standing for extended periods during the entire duration of shift
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for handling small components and tools.
  • Flexibility to bend, stoop, and crouch as required for tasks.
  • Good vision, including the ability to focus on small details and identify defects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress and potential issues.
  • Willingness to follow instructions and ask for clarification when needed.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in tube bending, grind, drill, countersink, rivet, and assemble large components
  • Perform crating and uncrating of product
  • Stack and move products as directed, to facilitate manufacturing work
  • Safely handle product always, and ensure own quality of work to include no damage to product
  • Keep work areas clean and organized
  • Read and interpret manufacturing and Bell drawings
  • Other duties as assigned
